Maywood, IL -- ZTechnik announces four new VStream windscreens for the 2013 BMW F800GS. VStream's highly successful aeroacoustic contour features a wider profile at the top of the windscreen, which pushes turbulent, noisy airflow to the side and away from the rider's helmet.
The new VStream windshields are an evolution of the windscreens currently existing for the 2008-2012 BMW F650GS Twin/F800GS dual sports, being modified to accept an updated mount point on the fairings. As always, the ZTechnik windscreens are engineered for maximum stability in conjunction with superior wind deflection characteristics.
These are available in four different heights and tints, and are made from tough 4.5mm FMR hardcoated polycarbonate. This high quality material, along with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, provides these windscreens with outstanding clarity and strength characteristics unmatched by any windscreen maker worldwide. They are 3X more scratch resistant and have 20X greater crack and impact resistance than other aftermarket windscreens on the market made from commonly used acrylic or "aircraft plastic".
