Maywood, IL -- Realizing that the small mounting area of the stock shield would not support a touring-size VStream, ZTechnik's engineers solved this problem with a three-piece windshield design. This brilliant solution uses the windshield's Side Deflectors as structural mounts, giving it eight mounting points instead of four.
The result is phenomenal: a stable windshield on the highway with the best wind management offered on a BMW GS twin. A pocket of calm air for the rider's torso is created by the structural side deflectors, and the VStream design reduces helmet buffeting to a minimum.
For F700GS riders looking for a little more wind on hot days, we offer the smaller Z2473 Sport Windscreen. This uses a similar VStream contour as the larger touring screens, but does not include the side deflectors and mounts in the stock location.
VStream windscreens are made from tough 4.5mm FMR hardcoated polycarbonate.
