Maywood, IL -- ZTechnik now has VStream® Windscreens in two sizes and tints for the new BMW R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure. The Z2487 Touring VStream Windscreen is both wider and taller than stock. The Z2485 Dark Tint and Z2486 Clear Sport screens are reshaped in contour but similar in height to the OEM windscreen.
VStream gets its name from its unique shape and dimensional contours. The advanced 'V' shape and dimensional contours push the wind vortex out and away from the rider's helmet, resulting in a peaceful, quiet environment This improvement is notable for the passenger as well.
VStream windshields are made from tough FMR hardcoated polycarbonate. This high quality material, along with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, provides these windscreens with outstanding clarity and strength characteristics unmatched by any windscreen maker worldwide. Optically, the VStream windscreen is clear with virtually no distortion (unlike the hallucinogenic views you get from the stock screen).
