Wendy Crockett -- Iron Butt Rally winner, Guinness World Record holder, and National Cycle VStream® owner -- tells us a few things:
"I am a competitive long-distance motorcycle rider and have been very successful in my career.
"Among other achievements, I am the first woman to win the 11-day, 11,000-mile Iron Butt Rally.
"I also hold a Guinness World Record together with my riding partner for the longest continuous journey in a single country. Most of my accomplishments have been on the same motorcycle, a 2005 Yamaha FJR, and that motorcycle is getting ready to go on display in the American Motorcyclist Association Hall of Fame.
"I'm not a sponsored rider, but motorcycling is my career so I take pride in recommending the products that I really do use and love.
"I want my museum bike to look as close as possible to the way it did in competition, but the problem is that the things I love the most (like my VStream) have been moved to my new bike.
"The bike has 300,000 hard miles on it after all - but I really don't want to slap a stock windshield on there when I've been running VStreams for well over a decade.
"I keep another Gen 1 FJR in Australia and I was devastated to find that nobody distributes VStreams down there!
"I ended up buying one here (along with a second screen for my Aussie buddy's Super Tenere) and shipped them down.
"I'm just too spoiled to ride without a VStream, and now I've made my friend a convert too - LOL!
"The attached picture from the Great Australian Bight is one of my all-time favorites."
