Maywood, IL -- ZTechnik now has VStream® Windscreens in two sizes and tints for the new BMW S1000R. The Z2482 Dark Tint short VStream is twice the size of the diminutive stock screen and adds functional wind protection. The Z2483 Clear touring size adds extra height and width for comfort and wind protection over long distances.
VStream gets its name from its unique shape and dimensional contours. The advanced 'V' shape and dimensional contours push the wind vortex out and away from the rider's helmet, resulting in a peaceful, quiet environment. This improvement is notable for the passenger as well.
These VStream windshields are made from tough FMR hardcoated polycarbonate. This high quality material, along with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, provides these windscreens with outstanding clarity and strength characteristics unmatched by any windscreen maker worldwide. Optically, the VStream windscreen is clear with virtually no distortion (unlike the hallucinogenic views you get from the stock screen).
